The cost to support a child per month is only between $4.00 – $5.00. Each center costs $120 per month to maintain. Millions of children need this extra help and with tutoring, they are able to stay in school and go far in life.

Manavar has employed preventative care nurses to work in underprivileged communities who do not have access to basic healthcare. The need is great. Your donation covers pay and travel for the nurses, purchase of medical supplies, and the dispensation of over-the-counter medication and supplements to the poor, in addition to other needs that arise on a case-by-case basis.

Your donation will go towards the following:

1. Preparation of 200 cooked meals and distribution among the homeless every week. Each meal costs from $0.70 to $0.90. The total cost per month varies, from $700 – $800 in total per month.
2. Feeding hungry children that come in for tutoring.
3. Periodic distribution of groceries to the poor.
4. Microfinance education for impoverished individuals to help them achieve self-sustainability.
