To affect lifestyle changes and prevent illness among the underprivileged villagers who have less or no access to healthcare to promote education, economy and empowerment.

Our vision is to identify, educate and prevent diseases among the rural population for a better future for children and families.
The Need
More than half of the population of rural areas worldwide do not have access to basic healthcare. Most often, healthcare resources are concentrated in cities. Lifestyle related illnesses and work related injuries tend to be more common, serious and severe in rural areas. As a result of inaccessible healthcare, many rural people become caught in a cycle of ill health, which leads to poverty and less access to education.
Our Impact
Manavar has established a pilot program to provide lifestyle counseling and preventative care measures to those who don’t have health care access. A professional community nurse was appointed to provide education, monitoring, and counseling with the provision of consulting medical doctors.
The pilot program is set in Mettupalayam, near Tambaram, Tamil Nadu. We intend to serve many villages all around it. The following services are provided:

Manavar is registered under Kingdom Planters International and it is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deducted.
Manavar has employed preventative care nurses to work in underprivileged communities who do not have access to basic healthcare. The need is great. Your donation covers pay and travel for the nurses, purchase of medical supplies, and the dispensation of over-the-counter medication and supplements to the poor, in addition to other needs that arise on a case-by-case basis.
